Hire web, e-commerce and app developers who ship reviewed, tested code
Contract developers for your website, e-commerce store or hybrid mobile app, by the hour or by the month. Work is reviewed by a senior developer and tested in CI before it reaches your repository, and you see progress in a weekly demo. Mid-level developers are $20/hour, senior and lead developers $30/hour, and every engagement starts with a 7-day full-refund period.
How we work
Reviewed, tested and visible every week
The same practices on every engagement, whichever level you hire.
Senior code review
Work by mid-level developers is reviewed by a senior developer before it is merged.
Automated tests and CI
Tests and a CI pipeline run on every change, so problems surface before they reach you.
Your repository, your approval
We work in your Git repository through pull requests, so you see and approve every change.
Weekly demo or report
Every week: what shipped, what is next, and anything that needs your input.
Documentation and handover
Documentation as we go, and a clean handover of code, access and deployment notes.
Standards we build to
Core Web Vitals
Websites and stores built to pass Google’s Core Web Vitals, so pages load fast on real devices.
Accessibility
Built to WCAG accessibility guidelines, so more people can use what we build.
Security basics
Dependencies kept up to date, secure coding based on OWASP guidance, and no secrets in the codebase.

Working hours with Europe
India is 4.5 hours ahead of the UK and Ireland and 3.5 hours ahead of Central Europe during European summer time, and one hour more in winter. We agree overlap hours with each client before work starts, so stand-ups, reviews and questions happen inside your working day.
Contracts and code ownership
We sign an NDA before you share anything, and a written assignment that transfers the code and intellectual property to you, worldwide and permanently.
Invoicing, VAT and IR35
We invoice in US dollars, payable by Wise, SEPA transfer or PayPal, in line with EU and UK VAT rules for cross-border business services. Engagements are a business-to-business service, set up in line with UK IR35 guidance.
Personal data
Where possible we work with test or anonymised data, so personal data stays in your systems. If the project needs access to personal data of people in the EU or UK, send us your Data Processing Agreement and we’ll review it before any access is given.

FAQ
Questions European clients ask
- How much does it cost to hire a contract developer?
- Our rates are $20 per hour for a mid-level developer (3–5 years) and $30 per hour for a senior or lead developer (6+ years). Full-time monthly plans of 160 hours cost $2,700 and $3,900, and part-time plans of 80 hours cost $1,500 and $2,150.
- What is the difference between mid-level and senior developers?
- A mid-level developer works independently on well-defined features, integrations and fixes. A senior or lead developer also makes architecture decisions, handles complex e-commerce and app releases, and can review or guide your own team. If you are unsure, start with senior help to plan the work and mid-level help to build it.
- How do you make sure the code is good?
- Through one process on every engagement: a senior developer reviews mid-level work before it is merged, tests and CI run on every change, and you approve each pull request in your own repository.
- Which standards do you build to?
- Websites and stores are built to pass Google’s Core Web Vitals and to follow WCAG accessibility guidelines. On security, we keep dependencies up to date, follow OWASP-based secure coding practice, and never keep secrets in the codebase.
- Is there a minimum engagement?
- Hourly work is prepaid in blocks of at least 20 hours. Monthly plans (80 or 160 hours) run month to month, and you can stop with 14 days’ notice.
- How does the 7-day refund work?
- If you are not happy with the work in the first 7 working days of an engagement, tell us and we refund what you paid for that period in full.
- Who owns the code?
- You do. We sign a written assignment that transfers the code and intellectual property to you, worldwide and permanently.
- Will you sign an NDA?
- Yes. We sign an NDA before you share any code, data or business details.
- Do you charge VAT?
- No. Our invoicing follows EU and UK VAT rules for cross-border business services: we do not charge VAT, and business customers account for it under the reverse charge. Your accountant can confirm your own position.
- Does IR35 apply if I hire your developers from the UK?
- Our engagements are a business-to-business service delivered by our own team, set up in line with HMRC’s IR35 guidance, so the off-payroll rules generally do not apply. Check any edge cases with your adviser.
- Is your service GDPR-compliant?
- We do not currently issue our own Data Processing Agreement. Where possible we work with test or anonymised data, so no personal data leaves your systems. If your project needs access to personal data of people in the EU or UK, send us your DPA and Standard Contractual Clauses and we will review them before any access is given.
- Which currency do you invoice in, and how do I pay?
- We invoice in US dollars. You can pay by Wise, SEPA bank transfer or PayPal. The euro and pound figures on this page are approximate and for comparison only.
- What hours will the developer work?
- We agree overlap hours with you before work starts, so stand-ups and reviews fall inside your working day. India is 4.5 hours ahead of the UK and Ireland and 3.5 hours ahead of Central Europe during European summer time, and one hour more in winter.
- Can your developers work on our existing codebase?
- Yes. Most contract work is on an existing codebase. We start by reading it and agreeing the first tasks with you before writing new code.
- Do you build native iOS and Android apps?
- We build hybrid apps: one codebase that runs on both iOS and Android and is published to both app stores. For most business apps, one shared codebase is faster to build and easier to maintain.
